The life of a shelter dog can be a lonely one. Waiting each day for someone to finally notice you and take you home is no doubt exhausting, and one shelter is trying to make the waiting game just a little bit easier.
And To make this waiting A bit more interesting and find a home for them faster Shelter started a program of taking them to a ride for a Puppuccino to starbucks.

If you’re unfamiliar with ‘Puppuccinos’ it’s a small cup of whipped cream that you can order for your dog at any Starbucks.
Not only does the dog get to take a break from the shelter and enjoy a car ride and a treat, the Starbucks also posts signs telling customers about the dog of the week, in hopes that they might decide to adopt him.
The Kitsap Humane Society in Washington is taking their pooches for a ‘dog coffee’ to make them feel better

The dogs also get a chance to change environment at least for a while and enjoy a car ride

The Puppuccino Pals program has been established in April and features the pups on Instagram
“[We use] the adorable pictures of them lapping up yummy whipped cream to give them exposure on social media to potential adopters!”
The local Starbucks also posts signs about the dog of the week to help the pups find a home!
